I notice this most when ssh-ing to another host, for the terminal will stop responding for about 30 seconds or a mintue. But the communication will likely freeze every couple of minites. This time wifi connections are mostly fine. It's running Mavericks and it seems to have another issue that's more annoying. Now I am having another problem with my newly purchased 2013 15" rMBP. All I need to do is to disable/enable wifi again and it will work.
Now for every 4, 5 wake ups there will be once the wifi tries and fails to connect endlessly. Then after a few patches it finally got better. And I heard for some people it was worse, for they were having connection dropped every few minutes. I had to reboot the system to get it working. Sometimes it just did not connect at all, no matter what. When it just came out the wifi was terrible. Ports and connectivity come via 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 2 Thunderbolt ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 audio in/out port plus 1 SDXC card slot.I have a 2012 15" rMBP running Mountain Lion. Most sadly, these "Retina" models are virtually sealed and not upgradeable in any way.
